The Nutcracker is approxomately 2 hours long with a 10 minute intermission between the First and Second Acts. After the Finale, dancers can proceed to the lobby to greet their fans and have photos taken in their costumes. After all shows dancers should remove their costumes, put them NEATLY into their garment bags, and return them to the racks in their dressing rooms. Be sure your hairpieces and any props remain with the costume!

On Saturday, Corps members should have a bite to eat AFTER REMOVING THEIR  COSTUMES after their participation in the Winter Showcase. Dancers should NOT wear their costumes while eating!

Returning Costumes on 12/4/21

After your dancer's final performance on Saturday, all costumes should be returned to the racks in dancers' dressing rooms. They will be transported back to the studio by PDA staff and volunteers. BE PATIENT...the dressing room helpers will need to check all costumes for hairpieces, excessive soiling, etc.

*Hairpieces and props/accessories are PART OF THE COSTUME and should not be kept as a souvenir!

*Please, tell the dressing room helper of any problems with the costume!

*Water is the ONLY beverage that should be consumed while wearing a costume!

IMPORTANT NOTE:  If you do not return your child's costumes we will assume you want to keep them as a souvenir and will charge your Jackrabbit account the price necessary to replace them (including shipping). Many of our costumes are unable to be replaced as they are no longer produced or the companies that manufactured/sold them have sadly gone out of business.

Wishing everyone a WONDERFUL SHOW!!
