PDA PERFORMANCE TEAM MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Perrysburg Dance Academy's Performance Team members are our official ambassadors representing us and performing in at least four local festival parades: the Rossford Summer Festival Parade, the Perrysburg Homecoming Parade, the Rossford Halloween Parade, and the Toledo Blade Holiday Parade.  In addition, team members have the opportunity to dance at Walt Disney World once every three years!

PDA's Performance Team is perfect for dancers who are excelling in their studio classes, looking for more dance opportunities, and interested in being part of a team! Good attendance and work ethic, an ability to work well with others, a friendly personality, and a love of dance are qualities we look for in our Performance Team members!

2023-2024 PDA Performance Team Requirements & Financial Obligations

​

To join PDA's Team, dancers must be at least 8 years old and entering the 3rd grade, taking  and in good standing with our financial office. Aside from their Saturday morning Performance Team rehearsals, each registered student must take also take two technique classes per week: Ballet and Jazz, or Jazz and Musical Theater. 

​

Every three years our Performance Team travels to Florida to perform at Walt Disney World! In 2024, this exciting team event will place our dancers (ages 10+) in the middle of the most magical place on earth as they parade down Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom! Team members and their accompanying family members will stay in the Magic at Disney's Port Orlean's Riverside Resort, play in the Magic at the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, and they will be part of the Magic as we team up with "Dance the Magic" for this very special opportunity!

PDA's Performance Team is not just another class. Like any other team sport or activity, there are extra costs involved. These costs include team apparel (spiritwear), parade/event costumes and/or accessories, a costume for our annual recital, shoes, tights, and personal items such as undergarments and makeup. Your dancer will also want to purchase an occasional small gift for their "Big" or "Little" Sis or Bro to show their love and support!
